The Chessie Room Bed and Breakfast

Huntington, WV

The Chessie Room is a suite of rooms in the heart of Huntington, within walking distance of many restaurants, nightspots, theaters, and the Big Sandy Arena. It is part of the old Baltimore and Ohio train station, now called Heritage Station, and located on the second floor of the old Huntington Bank building, allegedly robbed by the Jesse James gang in 1875. Fact or fiction, it's our story and we are sticking to it. The Chessie Room is Smoke Free. Please contact us about stays longer than 5 days.

Amenities include:
An enclosed outside sitting area.
Master Bedroom furnished with a queen size bed.
Full size sofa bed in sitting room.
Separate kitchenette.
Cast iron bath tub with claw feet.
Parking is located in Heritage Station parking lot in the rear of the bank building.
Be prepared to walk up a flight of stairs to the second floor (elevator would not be authentic).
Complimentary breakfast is provided by a local restaurant. However, it is a three block walk from the Chessie Room so you can work up an appetite. They do deliver on Sunday.
