Big Bend Campground (USDA Forest Service)

Big Bend is located in the Smoke Hole Canyon next to the South Branch of the Potomac River at the end of County Route 2. Located 10 miles south west of Petersburg, West Virginia.

Big Bend offers 46 sites; 18 sites are non-reservable. Twelve sites on the river loop have tent pads. All sites have a lantern holder, picnic table and fire ring. Drinking water is available. There are two pit toilets, one shower house, and flush toilet restrooms in each loop. There is also a dump and fill station.

Upper Loop Sites 13-30 are not reserveable and are on a first-come, first-serve basis. The River Loop sites and the Double Campsites are reserveable.
