Milleson’s Walnut Grove Campground

Springfield, WV

We are a seasonal, family campground. We have 200 tent/trailer sites, 20 RV sites, 30/50 amp electric, bath house with hot showers, handicap accessible restrooms, laundry room, camp store, public phone, fire rings and picnic tables on all reservation sites, pavilion, small playground, pebbled beach, horseshoe pits, volleyball court, basketball court, and large grassy field for other outdoor activities.

Milleson's offers a variety of lots for overnight and weekend camping, as well as seasonally leased sites. Our lots are all unique in size, shape, and amenities. Our campers enjoy access to a diverse section of the South Branch of the Potomac River, and also a variety of family friendly activities throughout the entire camping season. Lease customers enjoy camping from April 15th through October 31. Reservation camping begins in May and ends September 30th. Call ahead to schedule an appointment or make a reservation.

We are located off the beaten path 30 minutes North of Romney, WV; 45 minutes South of Cumberland, MD; and about 10 minutes from the small town of Springfield, WV. Our campground is situated 3 miles down a country dirt road, on a working livestock farm, along a bend in the South Branch of the Potomac River.
