Sugar Camp Run Falls

Sugar Camp Run Falls is one of a handful of beautiful waterfalls at Babcock State Park. Water rushes between several angular boulders, creating a unique flow – especially after heavy rainfall. Also fondly known as Babydog Falls, West Virginia lore has it that this waterfall is a favorite spot for the Governor’s English Bulldog. Parking in the historic Glade Creek Grist Mill lot provides easy access to the Old Sewell Trail. Take a right at the Mill and walk down the trail for 0.75 miles to arrive at the falls. Let the scenic trail guide you and become one with the serenity of Sugar Camp Run Falls.
